Long time for anything to be written in this blog. Mostly cuz of my real life is taking advantage of me! Too much work but i really couldn’t stop myself from writing something about all the shit happening past 3 days and 4 nights at Greece. As many might know already, since situation at Greece is first news in many countries at the moment, everything started at Saturday night when a 15 y old boy was shot and killed in cold blood by a police officer for no reason at all. News (with the help of internet too to be honest) were spread asap all over country and the reaction was imediate. Gatherings and protests were organized , take overs of university and other government buildings happened.
As you can see by yourselves, situation at the moment resembles of a country in a state of war. This is not far from the truth, but what is in most simple people’s mind is whether this is an unorganized break out from the people – and mostly teenagers or it is a well organized plan that has as a target to unstabilize even more Greece and take citizen’s minds away of the scandals that were being revealed past months. Scandals involving political and church major personas, with money and state exchanges. The so called scandal of Vatopedi, which is one of the biggest monasteries, which had to do with claims of the monastery to own big parts of land showing contracts that were signed from the age of 1500-1700 while Greece was under Turk’s authority. During past months we were witnesses of huge amounts of money and lands exchange between official church and past 15 years governments when in the same moment youth at Greece has to manage their lives with the basic wage of 700 euros and with 1/5 of the citizens under the limit of poverty.
If added all the rest scandals of past 1 year and the recent world wide economical crisis it is easily understandable that political games can be played on the backs of citizens or even created just so they can be manipulated easier. After all when at more than 40 major cities at Greece, riots, burnings of banks/shops/government buildings and constant conflicts between protesters and police happen in every day basis, fear is the major feeling that takes over mass crowd. Fear is the ultimate weapon of manipulation, resulting to making Greeks a tool to the hands of the masterminds that rule this country for many years now. Last but not least past days’ happenings is the main excuse for a lot of nazi parties to show up and blame the foreigners for everything, since in all this chaos that exists mob finds the perfect “working place” to focus on their every day (or night?) business which is the looting of a lot of shops and merchantizes that worth hundreds of thousands of euros.
I am not really sure how all this situation will evolve. Best guess i can make is that people will forget after a point, will forget that after the military government of 1967-1974 ended, they are ruled from the same people past 35 years almost. 2 political parties, 3 big political “familias”. Political corruption, unemployment, bad education system, almost no health/insurance policy with a guaranteed future, unfair taxing system are the problems that Greek citizens demand a solution. And i am afraid that as long as people will keep on giving their trust in same people and political parties that rob them and make them more poor every year, increasing the gap with rest EU (from which we ninjaed a lot of money past years without managing to make something on time and on accurate cost), situations like the ones we live past days will continue to happen. It’s time for everyone to act like a thinking person and not like a puppet so rich can become more rich. We talk about our lives and our future and we don’t need 70 year old fuckers to tell us how we should act and what we should do.

Welcome to the 4th Vashj weekly, Vashj only blog that gets updated weekly, hence the name! This week, the end of Council of Tirisfal and we say goodbye to Daveyoyo
So the date is known, 13th November. This will mean that we probably see a lot of guilds slacking till the start of the expansion, so a weekly update might be hard. But Heck, lets give it a shot!

Another week has passed, so it is time for the Vashj weekly, the third edition already! This week we will talk about Mojo MadnessTwin Eredar kill, Discworld progression in Black Temple and Council of Tirisfal downfall
Before i start my usual bshits and bla bla i will quote Sirdalord’s (Sevenshots at tbc) story @ pre-tbc Aunans forums. It is a RP story kinda, but really well made and i am not up to let it get lost in the oblivion!
Sirdalord’s story :
“At 22-12-2005 a brave group of wankers went to Dustwallow Marsh to face Onyxia, sister of Nefarian, daughter of Blackwing. They went here to revenge the terror Onyxia has put on the alliance for quite a while.
Full of confidence the group, who called themselves The Aunans, entered the Lair. They slayed without any trouble the finest guardians Onyxia gathered and went without any trouble to her hide-out.
Facing the impressive dragon, the once so confident Aunans, became insecure and a bit frightened. But reminded by the promise they made to Highlord Boldovar, they choose to fight instead to run.
The Aunans had appointed a warrior to get her attention while the rest would try to kill her. This tactic seemed to work and onyxia became weaker by the minute. Aunans confidence was rising again and they begin to think they would actually get her on her knees.
But after a while, onyxia noticed that she had underestimated her opponents and she decided to attack the aunans from the air. She called up on her children to help her fight the noble alliance. Scared by this sudden move, the aunans gathered up into a group, trying to find the safety that company of more people can offer. However, when Onyxia saw this happen, she took a deep breath and fill the cave with fire. The aunans where supprised and many were heavily injured. They retreated…
But they were not defeated. The aunans treated the casualties and gathered once more to attack her. Meanwhile, onyxia has called new wardens to protect her from the alliance. But even they where no match for the might of the Aunans and after a couple of minutes, they were facing onyxia again. But they made the same mistakes as the first attack and where forced to retreat again.
Aunans did not gave up and tried again, but they failed once more. But at the 4th try, they seemed to survive onyxia while she was flying in the air and weakened her with magic spells, bullets and arrows. Onyxia became fed up and landed to face the alliance. She let the ground shake, lava came out of the floor. Her attacks became stronger. And just when she was about to fall on her knees, the aunans where forcred to retreat again.

Since the processing to upload and the upload itself of the video for The Aunans first Onyxia kill will take some time and i do not want to end up dead from Iereia’s (sofi) hands will give some random screenshots from Onyxia fight vs The Aunans and the delivery of her head after our first kill! Hope till tomorrow to have finished the post for the video kill too, but if not @ Saturday will be up 100%! So stay tuned!

What can i say about our realm? As one of the old school players, I have seen many players, guilds, drama and co passing by. Over the years, I learned two things. One that our community is strong and two our PVE progression isn’t. What is this with Vashj and hardcore guilds? Why do they mix like Baily’s and tonic? What most people say is that our talent pool is dry as Anna Kournikova in the bedroom, but i doubt this is the only reason.
Yes we have too few good and active players for a competitive raiding guild; however, I feel it is possible to have steady PVE progression at Vashj if you have a guild with a good officer team. Guilds as Verve, with Saryon leading, showed in the past that good raiding guilds are possible. Actually, even, Serendipity showed they could easily exist till the yearly returning summer slack, but their officers panicked and went looking for the Holy Grail at the realm Kazzak.

After killing Illidan in the middle of July and having no problem to farm him for the upcoming hot weeks, it was time for Aunans to step foot on the next instance of Sunwell Plateau too. Having a hard reset actually, with people being in vacations still, Aunans managed to get a nice group at Tuesday (Vq you can just die man) and have 1% wipe at the first try ><
Second try was again around 13%, so it was kinda clear to all that Kalecgos was going to die today. Of course, it took them some time after all :F Though doubt anyone complained in the end, since 2 clears of Kalecgos trashes with 2 healer wands, the pala BS pattern and 7 Sunmotes dropping could characterize the day already as progression one! All hail Sevenshots! (maybe not too)
Time was passing, but noone was ready to give out and after some warming up with trashes and one change in the roster due to an unlucky dc (main reason of reclearing trash actually), the raid saw Kalecgos again and was determined to free him from his captor, Sathrovarr the Corruptor and LOOT HIS PURPLIX!!!! +1k gold to damn lucky Nëllas oO
