After some months of lvling, doing 5man, 10 man and 15 man instances the big goal of 20man raid instances and above came to the surface. Back then the officer’s team (mostly combined by our RL Foris, Tarantoulas, Gkaylababe, Holyfighter, me – Kounamouta and Mpaliz) decided that the guild should try to expand from the close limits of a RL Greek friends to something wider. This led to our first ZG runs, where we actually did pretty good back then with clearing 4 first bosses. Unfortunately after 4th boss things in ZG were pretty hard for guild with no MC gear, since the challenge was increasing enormously.

So we took the big step and entered our first 40man raid ever, Molten Core. Of course the people in the guild were far less than 40, so we had to enter with what we had after all First try was on Saturday 21st of October 2005, with 23 people. In this raid we actually managed to kill 2 (yea TWO!) molten giants and confront our noobish selves in the next 2 Fire Elementals, which we didn’t know that they weren’t linked after all :F Wiped for couple of hours there and decided to come back next week again with more people, since we had some near to lvl 60.

Friday came and all Aunans were excited for the new Molten Core challenge. Everyone was prepared and ready, and even we managed to gather only 28 people, we decided that we had to give it a try and see what we can get. Trashes went smoothly and we ended up, 28 nabs, watching Lucifron and his 2 gay friends. Our Raid Leader (Foris) explained the tactics as good as he could and we started the fight against the impossible for many.  First tries were kinda crappy, and the time started to press us, since we were only 28 people and trashes were close to respawn as we didn’t have any wipes but we were a bit slow clearing them.

And in our last try, after 4 hours of efforts in a 40 man instance with 28 only people, with some having hit 60 like 2-3 days, we managed to kill! To be honest at that time i was in a net cafe with like 10 more raid members and i can’t describe what happened. Only thing i can say is that the atmosphere was close to a football stadium People yelling, jumping, cheering, hugging and generally an atmosphere of imba fun and joy, all feeling little kids again. This was the time when the so called in the 3 years passed in this guild when “the Aunans’ way” was born. When all think that something is impossible, when all think that there is no time and chance to achieve something, then this happens to make everyone hope, hope that things can and will be better!

For the record, i want to tell the names of those 28 people that “mutated” this guild to a raiding guild, the oldest active remaining guild @ Vashj Server. Thank you all guys.
